Open House January 11, 2020
Come learn about the newly updated Earth and Space Science Center during our Open House on Saturday January 11, 2020 with FREE ADMISSION from 10:30am-4:30pm. There will be live science demonstrations from educators with the Perot Museum of Nature of Science as they present Atmospheric Adventures at 11am, 12pm, and 3pm. There will also be planetarium dome shows in the newly updated Hudnall Planetarium at 3pm and 4pm.
*Tickets for each presentation will be limited to the number of seats in the Hudnall Planetarium. Advanced reservations are recommended.

The forecast calls for wild weather! Take a journey through Earth’s atmosphere to experience what influences global weather patterns, why we have seasons, the importance of the water cycle, and how severe weather develops. There’s a 100% chance of fun.

3pm: Journey Through Space Live! This live-interactive presentation will take you on a journey to the planets in our solar system and beyond
4pm: Eclipses and Phases of the Moon. Learn about the role of the moon in solar eclipses in this immersive 20-minute planetarium show.
